Simplified Scrapbooking

Whether you’re just getting started or have been scrapbooking for a while, you got something to think about once you start amassing your scrapbook materials. Scrapbooking storage. All your scrapbooking materials can start piling up and if you dont get organized from the word go, it can become a nightmare real quick. Fortunately enough, since scrapbooking has caught on in the recent years, more and more companies have started making products that help when it comes to scrapbooking storage. This is a good thing for you because it means more choices, which allows you to personalize even your scrapbook storage.

Now, there are many different types of scrapbooking storage products. A very basic setup would of course be a box divided into compartments of different sizes. And if you cant find one that is already made with the sizes of compartments that you need, then I would recommend going with one of those plastic containers that you can find at pretty much any target or walmart. Then you would just need to cut up some cardboard panels to the sizes you need. And before you put your scrapbooking storage all together, you should customize it of course! I would maybe paint the container then wrap up the cardboard panels in some sort of cool wrapping paper or magazine clippings. You can do whatever you want to your scrapbook storage, and thats the point!

I’m sure that when you’re new, you can start with a smaller box, which means you can easily tuck away that scrapbook storage box on any bookshelf or in any closet. But what happens when your scrapbooking materials collection starts booming. Well, I have found that the best place for storing my scrapbook stuff was under my bed. You can buy containers that are slim enough to slide right underneath your bed. And if you put the scrapbook storage box together right, that should be all you need.

What are some other methods of scrapbooking storage? Well, if you dont like the square box approach, you can go with the pouch. Now, typically scrapbook storage pouches are made of a cloth material because they are mainly sewed together. The nice thing about pouches is that they are perfect for storing pictures, and are unique looking as well. Of course, you can always go with a clear plastic pouch or a see-through like cloth so that you can actually see what it is that you’re storingin your scrapbook storage. Those can be pretty cool too. And if you dont have time to sew, or just dont know how, you can also find pre-made pouch scrapbook storage kits out there. I personally would go with the premade pouches myself just because putting together a pouch scrapbook storing system can be very time consiuming. But, it all depends on how much of “you” that you want to put into it.
